Multiple arrested, 13 guns seized after Greektown brawl

Recently, a huge brawl broke out in the neighborhood that overwhelmed police and sent bystanders running.

The skirmish involved dozens of people many of whom allegedly wielded weapons.

A video of the incident posted on social media shows police wrestling with participants and trying to establish a perimeter.

Multiple people were arrested, and 13 guns were confiscated after the situation was brought under control.

The fracas is part of a string of violent incidents that have plagued Detroit in recent weeks terrifying business owners.

“I see it through the windows and watch it with the owners and it makes an unsafe environment for the patrons that come to patronize the business so I just don’t understand it,” said Danny Preston, an event consultant for bar owners. “I don’t know what the answer is necessarily.”
