Feds Move to End Cocaine Disparities
In a long overdue action, Attorney General Merrick Garland has ended federal charging and sentencing disparities for drug cases involving crack cocaine and powder cocaine. There is no longer a legal distinction between the two forms of cocaine when it comes to pursuing charges and administering sentences.
